Igor Kolaković, the current head coach of the Serbian national team, has been officially confirmed to lead Turkish champions Halkbank SK Ankara in the 2024/2025 season. Despite initial reports linking him to Poland’s PlusLiga team Exact Systems Hemarpol Częstochowaa, the move to Halkbank is now confirmed. Kolaković is also aiming to secure Serbia’s spot at the Paris Olympics, with a crucial VNL tournament in Ljubljana against Cuba determining their chances.
