The FIVB Coaches Commission held its annual meeting, marking the first since Fabio Azevedo’s election as FIVB President in November 2024. The discussions centered on strengthening coaching initiatives and advancing global volleyball development.
A key focus was the FIVB Strategic Vision 2032, under the motto “Together as One.” President Azevedo highlighted four priorities: World Rankings, the 2029-2032 World Calendar, Technology & Game Integrity, and Knowledge Transfer & Sustainability.
The meeting also covered game enhancements, updates from indoor and beach volleyball departments, and Volleyball World’s latest initiatives.
FIVB Coaches Commission President Giovanni Guidetti stressed the vital role of coaches in shaping the sport’s future:
“Coaches unite teams under a shared goal—just as we must unite the global volleyball community. Supporting and empowering coaches at all levels is key to our sport’s growth.”
