Olympic Volleyball Heads to Long Beach and Anaheim for LA28
The FIVB has officially confirmed the venues for volleyball and beach volleyball at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Beach volleyball will take center stage at Alamitos Beach in Long Beach, while indoor volleyball matches will light up the Anaheim Arena, a top-tier sports venue.
This announcement comes on the heels of the historic success of Paris 2024, which saw record-breaking viewership and unforgettable volleyball moments. The FIVB aims to build on that excitement as it prepares for another milestone in LA.
FIVB Secretary General Hugh McCutcheon expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “We are extremely excited by the confirmation of these venues… LA28 will continue the legacy of excellence showcased in Paris.”
The LA28 Games are scheduled to run from July 14–30, 2028, and promise to deliver volleyball action at its absolute best.
