Amin and Dutch counterpart Michiel Ahyi each scored 22 points, while Poriya added 21, helping Iran overcome a strong Dutch block. Despite being outblocked 13-7, Iran capitalized on errors to seal the win. “We played better today and must keep improving,” Amin said.
Meanwhile, in Burgas, France cruised past Turkiye in straight sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-19). Theo Faure led with 16 points, as the reigning Olympic champs climbed to fourth place. “We’re building every day,” Faure noted after the match.
