Defending champions Türkiye have secured their place in the 2025 Volleyball Nations League Finals after a sweeping 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-21) win over the Netherlands in Apeldoorn.
This victory marks Türkiye’s eighth win in nine matches, lifting them to third in the standings with 22 points—enough to guarantee a top-eight finish. They now join Poland, Brazil, and Italy in the Finals, set for July 23–27 in Łódź, Poland.
Ebrar Karakurt led the charge with 21 points, while Melissa Vargas added 13. “It was an incredible match,” said Karakurt. “We love playing here in Apeldoorn—it feels like home.”
On the Dutch side, Elles Dambrink and Nika Daalderop contributed 15 and 11 points respectively, but couldn’t match Türkiye’s firepower.
In Apeldoorn, Serbia earned their first win of the tournament, overcoming Czechia 3-1, while Italy made light work of Belgium in straight sets. Over in Arlington, USA, Germany edged past Canada in a thrilling five-set battle.
