For the first time, the tournament adopts a biennial format and welcomes an expanded lineup of 32 teams, offering more nations the chance to shine on volleyball’s biggest stage. Matches will be spread across Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Phuket, and Chiang Mai, with the finals scheduled for September 7 in Bangkok.

The opening round will feature 48 matches as teams battle through group play. The top two squads from each pool will move forward to the high-stakes knockout phase — culminating in the Round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals, and medal clashes.

Global volleyball giants like Brazil, Italy, the USA, and reigning champions Serbia are also preparing for intense showdowns, while newcomers such as Sweden and Slovenia hope to leave their mark.
