ŁKS Commercecon Łódź has confirmed a major shift in leadership just weeks before the 2025/2026 season. The club revealed that its managing director, Adrian Chyliński, will also serve as the team’s head coach — taking on two demanding roles at once.
The announcement followed a series of changes within the squad. Earlier this week, players Marlena Kowalewska and Natalia Mędrzyk officially parted ways with the club. Meanwhile, coach Przemysław Kawka, who had only recently signed a contract, left the team before leading a single match.
Faced with uncertainty, the club turned to a familiar figure. In a message shared on social media, Chyliński confirmed he would step in:
“After discussions with the board, we agreed that I will combine my duties as managing director with the role of head coach. We’ve reorganized responsibilities in the office and coaching staff to ensure both functions are carried out at the highest level,” he said.
Chyliński career includes most of the time assistant roles in Poland, Italy, and Hungary, as well as experience with the Swiss and Hungarian women’s national teams. Most recently, he served as head coach of the Hungarian club Fatum Nyíregyháza before returning to Łódź this summer—his only season in charge as a head coach during his career.
Acknowledging the weight of the challenge, Chyliński assured fans of his full commitment:
“This is the biggest responsibility of my career, but I believe in this team and in the people working around it. Together, we’ll fight for strong results and give our supporters many moments of joy this season.”
