With sharper attacks and strong blocking, the Chinese cruised through the sets (25-15, 25-21, 25-17) to stay unbeaten. Wu Mengjie paced the team with 16 points, while Zhuang Yushan and Wang Yuanyuan added solid support. The result sets up a Round of 16 clash with France, while the Dominicans prepare to face Brazil.
In other match in Pool C, Mexico edged Colombia in a five-set thriller (25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 25-18, 15-12), finishing their campaign on a winning note.
