Belgium and Tunisia booked their spots at the top of their groups with commanding victories at the 2025 FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championship in the Philippines.

In Quezon City, Belgium swept Algeria 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-12) to finish Pool F undefeated. Ferre Reggers led all scorers with 19 points, while captain Sam Deroo added 15. Tizit Farouk with 11 points was the top scorer for Algeria.
In Pasay City, Tunisia topped Pool A with a straight-set win over Egypt 3-0 (25-19, 25-18, 25-22). Oussama Ben Romdhane and Elyes Karamosli paced the attack with 14 points each, while Ali Bongui chipped in 13. Egypt’s fight was led by Seif Abed (12 points) and Ahmed Shafik (10 points).
Belgium will next face the runner-up from Pool C—Finland, France or Argentina— while Tunisia await the second-placed team from Pool H—Czechia, Brazil or Serbia.
