Finland stayed alive at the Men’s World Championship after beating Korea 3-1 in Pool C.

The Finns couldn’t secure the straight-sets win that would’ve sealed qualification, but they still earned a vital result with a 25-18, 25-23, 17-25, 25-21 victory. Luka Marttila led all scorers with 25 points, while Joonas Jokela chipped in 21. For Korea, Shin Hojin kept things close with 24.
Captain Antti Ronkainen called it “a huge win,” adding, “two victories in this tough group already mean a lot.”
Finland now wait on the Argentina–France clash later tonight. They’ll go through in nearly every scenario—except if France edge Argentina in five sets.
