The defending champions have suffered first defeat in this years edition of the FIVB World League.

Belgium have defeated Serbia in three sets on the road 3-0 (25-20, 25-18, 25-23).

As of the beginning of the game, Serbian side was not the same team that managed to defeat USA a day before. To be more precise, they were not at the same level. 

Belgium took that opportunity, putting a lot of pressure on the rival from the service line. Home team didn’t even manage to take one set.

Sam Deroo and Bram Van de Dries were the top scorers of Belgium. Zaksa’s player has scored 15 points while de Dries had 13. On the other side three players had double digits Petric 10, Lisinac 10, Luburic 10.

Poland – Italy 3-1 (21-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-23)

Bulgaria – Argentina 2-3 (23-25, 25-23, 25-20, 21-25, 13-15)

Canada – USA 3-2 (23-25, 25-19, 18-25, 25-23, 15-11)

Iran – Brazil 1-3 (25-21, 19-25, 22-25, 22-25)

Russia – France 1-3 (13-25, 20-25, 25-22, 21-25)

Serbia – Belgium 0-3 (25-20, 25-18, 25-23)
