The 1st round of voting for the 2016/17 Wov Women’s Dream Team is underway. HERE you can find everything you need to know about the Poll, while do not forget that you can vote at our WorldofVolley Home Page and at our WorldofVolley Poll Page.
Today, we are presenting receivers:
Zhu Ting and Kimberly Hill (Vakifbank) – We don’t have to explain why we put these two names into our poll. These two have won with Vakifbank CEV Champions League and World Club Championship. These two facts are enough to place them in this poll. Even more, Zhu Ting was the MVP of the Champions League, while Hill was elected for the second best outside hitter.
Kim Yeon Koung and Natalia Zilio (Fenerbahce) – They had a great season as they were one of the best receiving pairs in the world. Kim & Natalia led Yellow Angels to the championship trophy in one of the strongest volleyball leagues in the world – Turkish league.
Tandara (Osasco) – She is the player who was pushing Osasco to the finish line, but unfortunately for their fans, Rexona won the race. Nevertheless, we respect her performances in a jersey of Familia Nestle. She had really a good season and that’s the main reason we put here in the list.
Francesca Piccinini (Igor Volley Novara) – The Italian star has won the championship trophy at the age of 38! That’s not the all we have to say about here. She was one of the best players of Novara in title race in Italy.
Ruoqi Hui (Jiangsu) – The champion of China! A member of the Chinese national team had a good season in domestic league and along with Changning Zhang was the best player of the team.
Daly Santana (Mulhouse) – Probably the biggest surprise in the last season. The Puerto Rican volleyball star was the second best scorer of the league, finishing the season with 19,36 points per game. The most important thing is that she led Mulhouse to the championship trophy in France!
