In the last round, they have beaten Belgium in straight sets to claim the first place and position at the F6 tournament in Pool K1, which means they won’t play along with the host Brazil in the same Pool.

Thibault Rossard and Stephen Boyer were the best players of Team Yavbou, while on the other side Bram Van Den Dries scored 13.

This defeat has put Belgium in a difficult situation as they now depend on Russia, Poland and Bulgaria.

FIVB World League, Week 3, last round:

Canada – Italy 3-1 (20-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-22)
