GP 2017: Brazil outplayed Belgium in 93 minutes

In Ankara, Brazil opened their FIVB Grand Prix 2017 with the straight-wet win over Belgium.

Brazilian attacker Rosamaria Montibeller scored 12 points in her team’s followed by Ana Carolina da Silva, Tandara Alves Caixeta, and Ana Beatriz Silva Correa who scored 11 points each.

Belgium’s Freya Aelbrecht put 12 points on the board.

Tomorrow, Brazil will face Serbia while Belgium will play against host team Turkey.

Brazilian team captain Natalia:First of all, the most important thing was the victory. We got 3 points. But we know that we need to play better in the next games. Congratulations to the team on this victory.”
