GP 2017: Plak led Dutch team against Dominican Republic

Caleste Plak was the main reason why the Netherlands celebrated their first victory in the FIVB World Grand Prix 2017.

The Netherlands defeated the Dominican Republic in their opening match in Apeldoorn with 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-21).

Celeste Plak was incredible, and she scored 17 points which made her the top scorer of the match. On the other side, Gina Mambru and Bethania De La Cruz de Pena scored 10 points each for Dominicans team.

In the second match of the day Sarina Koga scored 23 points in Japan’s tiebreak win 25-19, 18-25, 25-14, 22-25, 15-9 over Thailand in their first match of the 2017 FIVB Grand Prix.
