GP 2017: Turkey scored the first win on home soil

After losing a match against Serbia, today Turkey have celebrated an important win at the tournament of Pool A of the FIVB World Grand Prix 2017 in Ankara.

Turkey dropped the first set in the match against Belgium, but after that, they satisfied the domestic audience with a victory of 3-1 (23-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-16).

The Turkish opposite Polen Uslupehlivan once again was the top scorer of the match with 19 points, including three blocks while Celine Van Gestel scored 14 points for Belgium.
