The Russian team has scored the first victory in this year’s edition of the FIVB World Grand Prix. Today in Kaliningrad they outplayed Dominican Republic 3-1 (16-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-14).
Russia’s Irina Fetisova was the most prolific scorer of the game with 18 points, while her teammate Mariya Frolova trailed with 12 points. Gina Altagracia Mambru Casilla and Brayelin Elizabeth Martinez topped their side charts with 16 tallies each.
