Legendary Brazilian coach Jose Roberto Guimaraes said after the match: Teamwork matters. I am proud of my team which played well in serve, block and defence. Brazil suffered a lot and we also learned a lot. It is good to compete against the best teams in the world. In the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, we lost to China and this time we will do our best to improve and play better if we face China.

Brazilian captain Natalia Pereira: Today’s match against Serbia is one of the best matches we’ve played in the World Grand Prix and we didn’t make many mistakes. Everyone followed the same path, which helped us win this match, especially Tandara Caixeta and Adenizia Silva, who contributed a lot and had good reception. We played like a team.
