In the opening match of the inaugural women’s FIVB Volleyball Nations League, Belgium outplayed Korea in straight sets (25-18, 25-22, 25-21) and scored the first three points in Pool in China.
This was an amazing play of Belgium, especially if we know that they had lost their last 11 matches in a row at world level.
Korea made a confident start to the match, but the 2014 Asian Games champions were unable to shake off the Europeans.
Britt Herbots led Belgian team with 16 points followed by Kaja Grobelna who scored 14 points. On the other side, Kim Yeon-Koung won 15 points while Jae-Yeong Lee 10 points.
