VNL F6 W: Tandara and Gabi sent the Netherlands home

In their first match at the Final Six of the Volleyball Nations League, Brazil celebrated a big victory over the Netherlands who have suffered both defeats in Pool A and finished with competition.

Brazil outplayed the Dutch team in straight sets (25-16, 25-17, 25-23) and as usual, Tandara Alves Caixeta was the main scorer with 17 points helped by Gabriela Braga Guimaraes who scored 14 points.

On the Dutch side, Lonneke Slöetjes finished the match with 15 points and she was the only player with double effect. Middle blocker Yvon Belien scored eight points but overall they struggled to keep pace with the Brazilians.

Brazil dominated in the block (10/2); Adenizia Da Silva scored 6 bl and Bia 4 fro the “Yellow-green”.

On Friday, Brazil will face China for the top position in the Pool although both teams will play in the semifinal of the VNL.
