The 2nd-seed Cannes overthrew no.4 Chaumont in the tie-break of Game 3 of 2020/21 French Men’s Ligue A to win their 10th national title, which came 16 years after their last coronation.

In front of their own fans, incredible Cannes came back from 2 sets down and rejected 3 match points of Chaumont in the 4th set before becoming the most successful club in French men’s volleyball for the number of league titles, ahead of RC France, Paris, and PUC (9 titles each).

Cannes were led in Game 3 by Lincoln Williams, who was named MVP of the playoff finals. Australian opposite hitter put down 30 points, while Kévin Rodriguez set up 4 blocks.
