WL 2017: Belgium strikes again, France gets back to the top of the table

Belgium and France were victorious in the 3rd round of the 2017 FIVB World League.

Belgium has defeated another volleyball super power. After they beat Serbia on Saturday evening, today they prevailed over USA.

Bram Van Den Dries shined in this match as he scored 20 points for the winning side. Therefore, Belgium now has the overall score of 2-1, while the USA squad has all 3 defeats.  

Meanwhile, France has returned on the top of the table after beating Argentina in straight sets. Young outside-hitter Stephen Boyer was the top scorer in the French team with 20 points.

France leads the 2017 World League standings with the overall score of 3-0, while Argentina has 1 win and 2 defeats.
