Paris Volley president Michel Rougeyron received a positive opinion from the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), to whom the club turned after their appeal on expulsion from the 2017/18 Ligue A playoffs in front of the National Directorate of Support and Management Control (DNACG) was rejected.
As French media reported, Rougeyron presented the necessary guarantees to the CNOSF thanks to a financial extension of the municipality.
The French Volleyball Federation (FFV) followed the advice of the CNOSF and reinstated Paris in the national championship.
The club from the French capital, who earned No.3, will face No.6 Montpellier Volley Université Club in the best-of-three playoff quarterfinals, which was shifted for April 6 exactly due to the unclear situation with Paris.
