The National Directorate of Support and Management Control (DNACG) rejected an appeal of Paris Volley on their expulsion from the 2017/18 Ligue A playoffs, which is scheduled for late March. The Superior Council of the Financial Constable of the DNACG confirmed the suspension of the club.
Paris was penalized for their financial mismanagement. More precisely, as the DNACG explained in its decision, „due to a violation of fairness and providing inaccurate information to the DNACG.“
Paris will now turn to the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), hoping it will overthrow the decision of the DNACG.
The team from the French capital currently occupy the third spot in the standings, one round before the end of the regular season.
