Aachen-Stuttgart

Aachen – Stuttgart

After a balanced first set which went to the guests and a dominant second set for Alemania Aachen, ladies in black started to make too many errors.

In the fourth set it was quickly clear to everyone in the hall, that on this day they probably couldn’t win. Unusually quiet and puzzled at this stage was the Aachen audience.

Stefan Falter: “Allianz Volley Stuttgart was better, with its great impacts made too much pressure. We have not managed to solve our problems in pressure situations. This will need to be discussed.

Stuttgart coach Jan Lindenmair was very satisfied: “With the exception of the second set – because Aachen has shown its potential – we made the pressure that we wanted.

Laura Weihenmaier injured her ankle and will probably miss the next two games.
