Were you surprised that you were honored for your excellent result of your apprenticeship during the last home match held in Friedrichshafen?
Our manager Stefan Mau just told me that I had something to do between the first and second set. But I did not know what it was about. Only when my boss came to me I realized that it was something related to my apprenticeship.
You were honored as one of the best apprentices of the banking house Sparkasse Bodensee.
More than two years ago I started my apprenticeship in Wuppertal. I already liked the trading facilities and so I had opted for this profession. Then I moved to Friedrichshafen. I applied for the position at the Sparkasse Bodensee like everybody else and was taken. So it was possible to finish the apprenticeship.
In the meantime you also joined German champion VfB FRIEDRICHSHAFEN.
Both aspects of my life – the sport and the business – are very important to me. After negotiating this with the bank, I was allowed to join the training sessions once per day. The responsible were very generous and flexible. Therefore I was able to combine both. Of course it is not easy to manage it, but it was possible.
In the 1/4 finals scheduled for late February RC CANNES will be playing the winner of the Turkish derby starring Eczacibasi Vitra and last year’s champions of Vakifbank TTelekom ISTANBUL.
