RC CANNES started strong to dictate the tempo by the first mandatory stop of the opening set but their rivals were able to claw back anchored by the great performance displayed in attack by Rachel Rourke and Debby Stam-Pilon. The home side eventually sealed it at 25-22 with splendid blocks helping taking control of the operations. MUSZYNA was not impressed by the great atmosphere created by some 3’200 fans at “Palais des Victoires” tonight and displayed some good play before the stellar defense provided by libero Paola Cardullo paved the way for the provisional 2:0 in favor of RC CANNES (25-18). The home girls impressed with their service in set 3, with Milena Rasic scoring all alone 3 aces in that section of the game, and with MUSZYNA failing to stop the attacks of RC CANNES the final 3:0 was quickly there.
