At the Volksbank Arena, the reigning Bounce House Cup champions proved their dominance once more. The Berlin Recycling Volleys outplayed VfB Friedrichshafen in a 3-0 sweep (25-21, 25-22, 25-18) in the Bounce House Cup final, a tournament featuring all 12 top-tier teams, (used to be played as the German Super Cup).
This marks the fifth consecutive win for the Berliners. Captain Ruben Schott was handed the winner’s trophy, a laser-engraved wooden disc, by Daniel Sattler, the Volleyball Bundesliga (VBL) Managing Director.
Reflecting on the win, Captain Ruben Schott said, “The expectations were immense, and we lived up to our favorites’ role. Friedrichshafen gave us a good challenge, but we came out on top. It’s a great start to the new season.”
Expressing his satisfaction with the event, VBL Managing Director Daniel Sattler said, “The Bounce House Cup has showcased excellent volleyball, particularly from our newcomers. We anticipate a Bundesliga season full of surprises.”
Berlin Recycling Volleys’ Johannes Tille was named the tournament’s MVP.
