In an electrifying start to the Play-Off Final series, SSC Palmberg Schwerin took first victory over Allianz MTV Stuttgart, winning 3-2 (25-27, 25-20, 25-12, 15-25, 15-9) in front of a packed Palmberg Arena. Led by captain Anna Pogany, the team demonstrated incredible fighting spirit and outstanding teamwork, overcoming Allianz MTV Stuttgart. The intense match marked the beginning of a Best-Of-Five series that promises even more breathtaking volleyball action.
The first set showcased the intense atmosphere as Schwerin, driven by the home crowd, began aggressively. Despite a strong start leading 4-0, Stuttgart fought back, eventually securing the set 27-25. Schwerin bounced back in the second set by winning 25-21. In the third set, Schwerin dominated early, leveraging powerful serves to build a substantial lead and closing the set 25-12. Stuttgart recovered in the fourth set, pushing ahead and winning 25-15, setting the stage for a decisive fifth set.
The final set saw Schwerin reclaim their momentum with an early lead and, supported by their fans, closed the match with a 15-9 win in the tiebreak.
