BR Volleys moved one step closer to the German Championship title with a 3:1 away win against SVG Lüneburg. In a packed LKH Arena, the Berlin team delivered under pressure, winning sets one, three, and four (25:23, 25:20, 25:22) to secure their second victory in the playoff final series.
Jake Hanes was once again the driving force with 25 points and five aces, including a thunderous 137 km/h serve. Moritz Reichert claimed MVP honors for the second straight match, while captain Ruben Schott provided stability in key moments.
Despite a strong push from Lüneburg in the second set, BR Volleys’ depth and resilience made the difference. The Berlin Recycling Volleys now have the opportunity to clinch the title at home this Saturday, May 3, at the Max-Schmeling-Halle.
