GERMAN CUP M: Friedrichshafen won ‘classic’ and went to semifinals

VfB Friedrichshafen is in the semifinals of the German Cup! In a thrilling quarter-final match, it beat Berlin Recycling Volleys at home court with 3-0 (25-22, 25-23, 28-26).

Precisely 1,589 spectators could enjoy, especially in the second set when Friedrichshafen had 8-0 lead against the German champion, but despite such a huge advantage, its players had to sweat a lot to win this part of the clash.

In the semifinals, Friedrichshafen will play the away match versus TV Ingersoll Bühl.

Most Valuable Player was Friedrichshafen’s Baptiste Geiler (11 pts.), but two other players form this team score more points – Adrian Gontariu (16) and Max Günthör (14).

In BR Volleys, Scott Touzinsky scored 11 and Christian Dünnes 10 points.
