GER M: Third time’s charm – BR Volleys won German classic!

Berlin Recycling Volleys defeated VfB Friedrichshafen in the 15th round of Bundesliga only from the third time this season and at the same time, broke the opponent’s winning streak of 11 matches!

The German classic went, as it was expected, with a lot of uncertainty and drama – and in five sets. BR Volleys had a bit more luck and overpowered the leader in the standings with partial 19-25, 25-16, 25-13, 20-25, 15-10.

Thus, BR Volleys finally beat the great rival after losing in the first part of the national championship and in the Cup.

Robert Kromm stood out in the winning team with 21 points, followed by Paul Carroll with 15 and Scott Touzinsky with 14.

Adrian Gontariu was the most efficient in Friedrichshafen with 18, while Maarten van Garderen and Baptiste Geiler each added 10 points.

BR Volleys are now only 4 points behind its today’s opponent on the table.
