Top seed Schwerin achieved a brutal victory over No.2 Allianz MTV Stuttgart in Game 3 to complete a sweep in the playoff finals 3-0 (25-17, 25-14, 25-16). Thus, the team coached by Felix Koslowski claimed its first championship title in four years on a superior way, without losing a single game in the playoffs (2-0 in quarterfinals, 2-0 in semifinals and 3-0 in finals) and dropping only four sets during its „rampage“.
Louisa Lippmann topped Schwerin’s scorers in Game 3 with 15 points, followed by Maren Brinker with 13.
