Matthias Munz‘s team lost on Saturday against evivo Düren which is sixth on the table, after only 79 minutes with 0:3 (20:25, 22:25, 20:25). After the third consecutive defeat they remain in eighth place. They have four points less than the team that’s sixth, which is necessary for the direct playoff qualification.
“This game is a reflection of our season so far. We had our opportunities, but were not powerful enough in the crucial stages” said CVM Manager Rick Wiedersberg. The guests led in the second set with 14:11, but could not use this advantage to win the set.
