DISGRACE! Derby interrupted, Iraklis fans were spitting on Aris players! (VIDEO)

by WoV

Another disgrace for Greek volleyball. The derby of Thessaloniki was interrupted due to shameful behavior of home fans.

This should not be happening in any sport, especially in volleyball. Iraklis will definitely be punished for the incident that was caused by their fans on the match against Aris.

Fans of Iraklis firstly removed the safety net, that was standing between them and the court, while then they started spitting on Aris player that was preparing for a serve!!! He simply could not stand that kind of behavior, so he went toward the referee and the game was interrupted for a while.

After couple of minutes, player of Aris finally made a serve, although the home fans continued with spitting! You can see after the serve that the player asked the referee to use a towel, so he could clean his head.

At the end, Aris won the game by 3-2.
