Sentragoal.gr writes that Panathinaikos have parted ways with Giorgos Roussis after 4 years of cooperation, and that the Greens are negotiating with a well-known Greek coach Dimitris Kazazis.
What is interesting about Kazazis is that he was leading the men’s team of Panathinaikos in 2011/12 season and managed to save the club from relegation. After that, he accepted the offer from the men’s team of Olympiacos, the most fierce rival of Panathinaikos, and became the first coach in Greece to win the “treble” (Greek Championship, Greek Cup, Greek League Cup) in 2012/13 season.
He has stayed in Piraeus until the last summer, winning one more championship (2013/14), Greek Cup (2013/14) and one more League Cup (2014/15) along the way, while now he will once again return the Green side of Athens!
You do not see a lot of sports people in Greece who change the colors of Athens eternal rivals, while Kazazis has a chance to do it twice!
