“It was not as easy as it turned out. Kifissia played very well although Jovanovic didn’t play. We are Greek Cup winners and we are very happy that we achieved this result. We played amazing game against PAOK and luck was on our side. It was not easy to prepare for the final, the good thing was absence of Jovanovic on the other side. Congratulations to my players that finally realized their true potential. I’m happy because of that as well” says Piazza.
The head coach of Kifissia Kostas Arseniadis said that his team had some difficulties in preparation for this match:
“I want to congratulate to Olympiacos. My players gave their best against them but Olympiacos had a very good appearance. We had difficulties because some important players missed this game” says Arseniadis.
