It was a stunning game, Perugia had everything under control until the start of the fourth set, when the opponent raised its level of play, performing much better in attack and defense.
Oleh Plotnytskyi was the top scorer in Monza, while Donovan Dzavoronok added 15 points. Wilfredo Leon ended the game with 20 (7 aces), Aleksandar Atanasijevic had 17.
Ivan Zaytsev (12) and Denys Kaliberda (10 points) were the top scorers in Modena’s win over Vibo Valentia. Mohamed Al Hachdadi scored 11 points.
A good display of the Dutch opposite Nimir Abdel Aziz led his team to the win over Calzedonia Verona. He scored 25 points, while on the other side Stephen Boyer had 20 points.
