From the start of Game 2, the No.3 seed Lube showed determination to improve poor impression which they made in the opening match of the 2018/19 SuperLega Credem Banca playoff finals against the top seed Perugia.

Driven by the sold-out Eurosole Forum (4,312 spectators), Lube won the first set. That’s when Perugia players pulled themselves together. They tied at 1-1 and had +5 (20-15) in the finish of the third set, but dropped the lead. Lube brought back their initiative in the match and won by a 3-1, partially 25-19, 22-25, 25-22, and 25-19.

Cuban Yoandy Leal stood out for Lube with 20 points. His compatriot, soon Poland national team member, Wilfredo León scored 21 (4 aces) for Perugia.

Game 3 will be held on May 8 in Perugia.
