With tonight’s victory in the third game of the 2018/19 Samsung Volley Cup A1 playoff finals against the No.2 seed Novara, in front of the packed stands at Palaverde (more than 5,000 spectators), the top seed Imoco won the national title. Imoco’s collection of championship trophies has now increased to three, after those in 2016 and 2018.
Imoco achieved the victory in Game 3 much harder than in previous two encounters: 3-2 (25-16, 23-25, 25-11, 20-25, 15-13). As for the attack, the Croatian opposite hitter Samanta Fabris was the one to stand out for Imoco with 22 points.
