IVolley Magazine reports that the management of the Italian Men’s Volleyball side Azimut Leo Shoes thinks into the direction of returning the hero of their fans Earvin Ngapeth!

According to iVolley Magazine, the voices that come from Modena say that the SuperLega club wants to re-hire French superstar Ngapeth.

The departure of the head coach Julio Velasco, who decided to retire, forced Modena management, headed by the President Catia Pedrini, to make a different strategy for the next season. It is already known that Modena are close to hiring Andrea Giani instead of the Argentinean expert. In that case, Giani would return to the club in which he finished his playing career and also started his coaching career, 11 years ago. Modena management hopes that Giani’s presence will change the mind of Ivan Zaytsev who negotiates with Cucine Lube Civitanova, knowing that these two always had a special relationship.

Finally, we come to Earvin Ngapeth, who left so many broken hearts among the fans when leaving Modena last summer after four seasons with the club and joined Zenit Kazan. Losing the Russian playoff finals to Kuzbass Kemerovo might be the fact that could go into the favor of Modena. Since Ngapeth has a valid contract with Zenit for one more year, Modena would have to pay the buy-out clause for him of € 300,000 to the Russian club.

Butko is a great setter, so that’s not his issue. I would be surprised that Zenit let him ago after Anderson signed for Modena already. Especially since they lost Russian championship. If they lose Champions League final to Lube, this season will be a disaster.

Ngapeth feels really bad pressure after Leon. Leon set high standards and hard to get up there. Plus Ngapeth doesn’t do really good job in Zenit. So they should let him go and bring quantarena at least.
