Savino Del Bene Scandicci renewed the deals with their captain Lucia Bosetti and Brazilian international Adenízia Silva.

A 29-year-old outside hitter Bosetti, summoned to play for Italy national team in the 2019 FIVB Volleyball Nations League, will defend the colors of Scandicci for the third straight season, scoring 621 points in 69 official games in the jersey of the club so far.

A 32-year-old Brazilian middle blocker Adenízia will be in the roster of Scandicci for the fourth consecutive year during which she scored 944 points in 120 games. Only a day before re-signing the contract with Scandicci, the 2012 London Olympics champion underwent surgery on her right shoulder and will carry out rehabilitation in her home country. Adenízia will return to Scandicci at the beginning of summer preparation.

Earlier, the club hired head coach Marco Mencarelli from Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio, who replaced Carlo Parisi.
