ITA M: Trentino beat Ravenna in first-ever match on Christmas Day in Italy

Itas Trentino beat Consar Ravenna in the match that will go down in the history of an Italian male volleyball.



In Round 14, the first round of the second half of the season in the 2019/20 Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship, Trentino defeated a combative team of Ravenna by a 3-1 (21-25, 30-28, 25-19, 25-21). With the win in the first-ever game played on Christmas Day in Italy, Trentino returned to the top 4 in the SuperLega charts.

Serbian Srećko Lisinac highlighted for Trentino with 19 points (5 kill blocks, 75% attack, 12/16), which was exactly how many points Canadian Sharone Vernon-Evans tallied for the losing side.
