Kioene Padova returned home empty-handed from the trip to Perugia, who had difficulties to beat them in Round 18 of the 2019/20 Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship regular season. However, the team coached by Vital Heynen, vice-leaders of SuperLega, managed to record the 17th success in a row, counting all national and international competition (undefeated since November 10): 3-1 (25-23, 19-25, 25-20, 25-21)! Cuban-Polish Wilfredo León was the top scorer for Perugia (19 points), but Serbian Marko Podraščanin was the one that highlighted his team as he made a 100% attack (11/11). Japanese Yuki Ishikawa and Cuban Fernando Hernández tallied 16 points apiece for Ravenna.

Cucine Lube Civitanova remained leaders after wrecking Calzedonia Verona in straight sets, conceding only 8 points in the first set!

Third-placed Leo Shoes Modena struggled to prevail over Top Volley Cisterna, while Itas Trentino strengthened themselves at No.4. Both Modena and Trentino wrote down 4th successive triumph in the competition.
