With 5,000 spectators on their side, Modena inflicted the 2nd defeat to the leaders Lube in the 2019/20 SuperLega Credem Banca regular season, staying 3rd placed but shortening the distance in relation to them to only 2 points. The Pole Bartosz Bednorz highlighted the home side with 17 points. The international from Luxembourg Kamil Rykhlicki top-scored for Lube with 20 points. The losing side couldn’t count on the help of Cuban-Brazilian Yoandy Leal who is recovering from injury.

Sir Safety Conad Perugia suffered a lot on the road against Tonno Callipo Calabria Vibo Valentia but managed to pull off the 13th successive win in the competition, the 18th successive in all competitions! Thus, the team coached by Belgian Vital Heynen took over the lead from Lube who claimed it, practically, from the beginning of the regular season, tying with them at 45 points but having one more match played.

Itas Trentino downed direct contenders for the 4th place in the charts, Allianz Milano, by a 3-1 and went 6 points ahead of them.
