Italy’s Verona gave another chance to Jaeschke to show his potential defending their colors despite nearly a two-year absence from volleyball of American outside hitter.
The shoulder injury last fall during the FIVB World Cup prevented a 26-year-old Jaeschke from taking the field last season. And this happened when he had completely recovered from anterior cruciate ligament injury sustained at the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Nations League, which sidelined him for the entire 2018/19. But even then, Verona extended the contract with Jaeschke.
The US National Team member will be a part of the Verona roster until 2021.
