Although just two rounds of the 2020/21 Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season are behind us, Imoco Volley Conegliano had clearly shown to the rest of the league they are undoubtedly the main favorites to take the crown.

Tonight, the team coached by Daniele Santarelli swept rivals for the title, Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio, in the Italian “classic“ by a 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-23).  It was a repeat of the recent Super Cup final and the Italian Cup final from February. Imoco prevailed in all of these encounters.

Paola Egonu was employed in the attack for 42 times, scoring 25 points. Camilla Mingardi made 15 points, while Giulia Leonardi had 75 % reception (56 % perfect) for the losing side.

There was one more big match today in which Igor Gorgonzola Novara downed Zanetti Bergamo in straight sets.
