Today’s program of the 2020/21 Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season can be described with one word – tie-break. All three games of Round 11 had to be resolved that way.

The European champions Igor Gorgonzola Novara (Caterina Bosetti 23 points, American Micha Hancock 5 aces) achieved an exhausting win, fourth in a row in the competition, over Il Bisonte Firenze (fourth defeat in a row). With the two points today, the team commanded by Stefano Lavarini leveled with Saugella Monza and Savino Del Bene Scandicci at 16 points, all sharing second place in the ranking.

Zanetti Bergamo (Sara Loda 25 points, Eleonora Fersino 74 % reception /30 % perfect/) ended their own losing streak of three games by downing Unet e-work Busto Arsizio.

Another series of losses came to an end. After four failures, Bartoccini Fortinfissi Perugia noted a victory over Banca Valsabbina Millenium Brescia in which the Czech Helena Havelková and Belgian Freya Aelbrecht put down 18 points apiece.
