Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie deepened the crisis of the vice-champions VERVA Warszawa ORLEN Paliwa in the 2020/21 Polish Men’s Volleyball Championship.

For the side coached by Igor Kolaković, it was the first match after a one-month break caused by the coronavirus, which they closed in 86 minutes mostly thanks to Mateusz Malinowski (22 points).

After seven defeats, Cuprum Lubin achieved the first win in the season. In the 17th round played in advance, they prevailed over Indykpol AZS Olsztyn in straight sets. Colombian Ronald Jiménez top-scored the winning side with 21 points, including 4 aces.
