ITA M: Perugia regain command of standings after beating Modena in big match

Sir Safety Conad Perugia prevailed over Leo Shoes Modena in a derby of the 2020/21 Italian Men’s Volleyball Championship.



The big match, valid for the postponed ninth round of the 2020/21 Italian Men’s SuperLega Credem Banca regular season between Perugia and Modena went into the favor of the former. For Perugia, it was an important win with which they regained the command of the standings: 3-0 (25-20, 25-23, 26-24).

Cuban-Polish Wilfredo León tallied 19 points on the winning side, while Ukrainian Oleh Plotnytskyi had 90 % reception (60 % perfect). Serbian Nemanja Petrić scored 18 points for Modena, including 4 blocks.
